An Eidolon

Sure enough, a few days after Rydia's announcement, a great creature moves through the sky like a snake. It crosses the world before diving into the sea with a cry of anguished rage that can be heard by any with a connection to the eidolons, creating great waves as it does. The seas rage, suddenly seeming alive, and it is a few days before they calm enough to allow safe travel by boat.

Anyone who did not heed Rydia's warning will find themselves washed up on the shores of Mysidia, in the bay known as the Dragon's Mouth.
